I don't about you but this is definitely in my eyes one huge step towards Blender becoming Industry standard

The first 7 and a half minutes of this is like the best most concise basic blender tutorial and covers the basics thoroughly and quickly and I'll be referring to this as a good blender cheatsheet for the workflow!

I like the idea that now even more parts of the asset modeling can be made outside Unreal so less and less work is forced to be done under Unreal, "trapping" assets and limiting migration options.
It also reduces the learning curve (upfront commitment) to Unreal if someone already knows how to rig and animate in Blender.

One thing you didn't appear to cover, that seemed to be in the Unreal Fest video is that if you have an Unreal session and Blender session running simultaneously, changes (at least to the mesh) made in Blender can be sent over to Unreal with a single import click and be immediately reflected in the Unreal session. Apologies if I have misinterpreted this though.

When it comes to scene scale, you have to have the scale set before you create an object. So what I did was delete everything, set the scene scale then start working from there. I believe you can Ctrl+A and apply scale if you change the scene scale while the object still exists. As much as Blender is a great tool it's still a nightmare importing in to UE4 even with this tool a little.

Another thing, in the prefs, change the forward direction to X axis for export. The asset puts it on -Y like this asset wasn't written by people who work there.

Scale issues are due to Unit of Measure. Blender by default uses metres and UE uses centimetres. Change Blender to use CM as it's units.
