before we get into scripture and this weeks topic of Baptisms, we spend a good 15 minutes just hanging and talking about the past couple weeks of traveling we did and the conference we spoke at. so if you wanna get right into scripture... we suggest you skip to about 14:30 ♡

this weeks episode is really personal to us... we got baptized:)
and we tell you guys allll about our experiences (we even included footage from us actually getting baptized!)
we talk all about baptisms. what they even are, what the purpose is, why its important. we read from Matthew chapter 3 and we talk about water baptisms, baptism of the Holy Spirit, repentance, Christians vs Catholics take on baptism, and so much more.

The devil tried to keep me from going to church and get me discouraged the day I got baptized. I live an hour away from the church I go to and had a flat tire. I prayed to GOD that I would love to go to church (was ready to give tithe) but if it was HIS will. I got air after traveling to several places and prayed over my tire of my car and still hasn’t gone flat and I was able to make it to church a little late but made it not knowing they were doing baptisms. It’s special because I’ve been friends with my friend Maya for years and her stepdad started a church this past December. It’s a humble church filled with love. These people are so kind and open hearted

Thank you for adding the prayer at the end. I almost did not say it because I thought I was the usual prayer for people wanting to give their life to Christ and have already- but had been struggling with lying spirt. I heard Holy Spirt say " You should say it with them" I did. That is when I realized their was an added prayer about sin and repentance. I began to get delivered and speaking in tongues. I heard direction to put my hand on my head and heard Jesus voice saying " I am delivering you" I started releasing through tears and at the end heard God's voice that he is with me, loves me, I am his and I am free so forgive myself because Jesus has already forgiven me. Powerful. Thank you! P.S I am the girl you both meet at ONE Church LA back in August of this year! Love the podcast

Thank the Lord for you both. I am going to look into getting baptized. I went to Church this past Sunday and people were getting baptized. Thank you for sharing the memory of your baptisms with me, I felt so honored to be invited into that amazing experience.

I would also like to say as a man that the reason that I watch your show is because I can see a glimpse into something that is so powerful because your walk with God is real and genuine. Your love for God is evident as it is expressed in the joy on your faces, it is expressed in the tears that flow from your face, our tears are so precious to him that he bottles them. Psalms 56;8 says “You have collected all my tears in your bottle. You have recorded each one in your book” It’s also expressed loudly in the silence of the many unspoken words of you being who you are in Christ.

The word says where two or three are gathered in his name that Jesus is with us, that in itself is a draw for me to want to be in a gathering with you!

I bless you my sisters with the blessing flowing from heaven into your hearts with oil poured out upon your heads covering you with overwhelming sense of the presence of God. Joey
