When I hovered my mouth over to the left, I couldn’t get that selection to show up. @ tasks didn’t work for me in doc either

They need to make this feature available on personal workspace accounts. I have a business account but I don't use it as my main account. I thought about switching all my stuff to the business account, but after doing some research doesn't seem like a good idea. I wouldn't even mind paying to have it available on my personal account as long as they threw in some extra features.

I have a professional Google account and can’t assign tasks to people outside my organization. My business often outsource work and need to assign them tasks. Can you please help in this regard?
Furthermore I would love if Google add features like timer, time tracking, kanban board, timeline view like they are in Asana into Google tasks. In fact it would attract many new customers of Google professional accounts. Please do help me in regards of assigning tasks to people outside my organization in docs.

For anyone asking If it does not work this is the answer: Assign tasks from Google Docs Tasks in Docs are only available for eligible work or school accounts, and the account you’re signed into isn't eligible.

There is no +task and @task didn't work to make a list. I can make the square instead of bullet, but that is it.

can anyone exp lain to me why google docs on mobile(android) when you type in @ you dont get any promps like you would in the desktop version? is it just me? does it work on other mobile devices? and I pay for google workspace.
