I'm from Colombia. A very good friend of mine was married to this woman and they have a kid. My friend was a really good husband, but at one point of the marriage, she just got bored and decided to divorce. After some months of trials, she got not only the kid's custody but also she became the complete owner of the apartment they had bought. But that's not the end, then she decided to move to another city. So now, my friend has to pay not only for alimony but also he has to pay for flight tickets and hotels every time he's allowed to visit his kid.

Dated my last girlfriend for about 7 months when she found out I was stashing $500 a week to buy a cabin and retire early. We had a big fight because she felt it should go towards a wedding and I told her to get lost. 3 years later, one of us just paid cash for a beautiful cabin in West Virginia and the other got knocked up messing around on Tinder. Yeah, don't get married, fellas. And don't use Tinder either.
