United Healthcare waged a virtual genocide on the working class.

I work for a health insurance company & it's all about saving the company money. Giving the CEO the millions in bonus. I am just a worker, no bonus. Barely get a raise. One year they only gave 0.25% raise, yet the ceo& higher ups were given 6 million in bonuses

You can blame United healthcare but it’s the ENTIRE healthcare for profit system.

If this kid with one pop managed to accelerate authorisation for a couple of thousand claims in the last few days that's a couple of thousand lives he saved. In one pop. Mathematics.

I can't wait to see this story arc play out. The arc where those in power learn they aren't actually safe.

Mr. Potter has been talking about the industry for a long time, warning about these practices. The industry refuses to listen, or change, and things just get worse. This was all preventable

It's odd to have to learn how to fight for coverage. To ignore the denial and having to refile. I was dumb and now I know it's not me. My grocery store is union and health insurance deductible is 1, 000 dollars.

10 years ago I got a job offer from Aetna's and mental health professional the salary they offered me was double what I had ever made and my job was supposed to be to review claims I was supposed to work 9:00 to 5:00 at one of the busiest intersections in the city no flex time something inside me told me to not take the job and I wouldn't show any enthusiasm toward the interviewer and we just ended the interview.

I use to work in the insurance industry back in the 80s. They sold a product based upon safe guarding theirs customers against a risk. The company had to maintain a good honest reputation in the community. Greed and only being beholden to your shareholders has made this product of insurance useless. Hope this show people what is ready the problem with this gargantuan wealth inequality that is killing our democracy. I say break up monopolies, organize for consumer protections and make purchase choices not solely on cost. Make sure your money stays locally as much as possible. We survived before Walmart, Tesla, Amazon and even the old racketeering firm Wells Fargo.

WHEN did we Americans "agree" that OUR health and the health of our loved ones, should be handed over to sociopathic, insatiably and insanely greedy billionaires for yet another "profit center" for THEM ONLY. Now THAT is truly "sick."

Luigi Mangione is a Dragonslayer. Of course the Dragons wish to crush what unity this propaganda of the deed is fomenting.

Speaking from years of US healthcare experience- people don’t seek treatment until it’s too late, they *die* to avoid bankruptcy/ homelessness. The US for-profit health insur system *rations* care by leveraging high deductibles, delays and denials that fatten their pockets while denying coverage to their members who pay monthly premiums. Healthcare needs to be a govt-administered *service* not “insurance” because healthcare is needed more often than infrequent emergencies/ accidents/ natural events. We are the *only* democratic, industrialized country without some version of universal healthcare! Don’t fall for insur co’s scare tactics/ propaganda, see the data online- univ hc has better outcomes, greater longevity than US.
