HEALTHCARE SHOULD NOT BE A FOR-PROFIT BUSINESS

Profit and greed don't belong in healthcare and education systems. Period!

The CEO was NOT trying to make things better for people. BUT he was trying to make more money for himself and other top CEO's.

one killed a person "illegally". The other killed many people "legally".

Not all things that are illegal are Immoral.
Some things that are legal are also incredibly immoral.

Seriously? The ceo made 10 million United States Dollars last year (2023) and he was the voice for the patients. WoW. What a joke.

I moved to Japan in 2016. I was shocked when my first bill for getting tested and treated for pleurisy that wasn’t in the hundreds of dollars… just 30 dollars. I cried realizing what a relief it is to live in a country where I don’t have to feel FEAR when I get sick.

Look at these privileged individuals discussing how people who are actually affected by the predatory tactics of health care should act. So out of touch.

I live in Sweden now. Had a surgery last year that was 100% quality of life (no cost), and would never have been covered back in the US. I’ll never go back because of exactly this.

CNN needs to get someone on that panel who actually struggles to pay their bills. Who has children and can't pay for their care. Then see what real Americans feel about this case.

Bernie sanders has been sounding the alarm over this for years

We don't need to hear from any more CEOs. All of us want to see all of the stories from regular people who have been given the shaft by the healthcare insurance industry.

I dont understand why these reporters seem so confused by the outrage. Our health care system is broken and people are fed up.

NO ONE DESERVES TO DIE BUT FIX THE HEALTH CARE SYSTEM! THEY’RE LEGALLY ALLOWING PEOPLE TO DIE EVERY DAY BY DENYING AND DELAYING MUCH NEEDED CARE!

CNN producers, look at the comments, this is where you will find the story that absolutely needs to be covered.

Nobody on your panel has any idea of how horrible life it is for people with crappy health insurance or with NO health insurance because it's too expensive. I don't condone what this young man did, but he didn't do it for himself. He has insurance and a rich family who can help out. He was more troubled than evil, whereas the psychopathic CEOs are just plain evil.

i CNN needs to quit acting shocked by our outrage over this CEO. I’m a very old lady and I’m very incapable of taking on vicious tasks, so I am no threat, but the thoughts I think….. I’m just an old person who finally realized that 91% of claims that are denied were determined by AI. Now I’m still smart enough to know what AI is. We’re furious!!!!

The worst part is the people working hardest are getting the least remuneration for their efforts and then shamed in the media for not taking more hours, more work despite the poverty wages. 40% of people in work need state support. That’s a reflection of greed not poor work ethics by working people. This is being done by design, by greed.

If we're supposed to be against murder, why was the CEO praised and rewarded for committing mass-murder?
