I’m Puerto Rican and I knew we had a black history since my entire family was born on the island. My family has very dark skin to very light skin. And when I did my DNA, I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my lineage was 78% African. It was a wonderful revelation. However, it was not welcomed news to many of my family members who consider themselves white. And that is sad.

I wish every person on the planet could see this! Love how you gave so many details, facts and observations to explain your points. I truly believe that in the distant past people of colour were far more advanced than the racist archaeologists of 17th and 18th century would give credit for. And I would love to believe that many people of different races all lived and worked together.

In some places Black people were rulers. Other places they were Brown, Yellow, White or Red... No one cared because it was about tribe and culture. But history needs to be rewritten where race is not at the forefront but truth and facts.

I noticed that some of these statues have what looks to be attempted damaged by fire. Noses, which are the most distinctive feature on our faces, knocked off. Even though detailed remainder parts of the statues still remain. It was purposefully done. All things done in the dark will always come to light eventually.
