This show COULD be so good. Ever notice that the TV production companies cameras manage to keep working? Even when everything else goes faulty.

The laser beam didn't stop and then start up again in its own beam path. Something passed between the unobstructed beam and the observing cameras which blocked that specific light-wave's frequency just like my "blue block" lenses can block an intense blue laser light test beam. The difference is that the beam was not blocked in its own beam's path; and didn't restart distally to some blockage. Only the laterally scattered light was blocked. Some kind of selective filtering agent passed between or stood off to the side of the beam which filtered out that specific wavelength of light as observed by the cameras. The beam itself was NOT blocked or interrupted. Test that theory, guys.
