breaking the elder wand made more sense since so many wizards killed each other over the wand thinking it was the only way to take control of it. If the elder wand was truly Voldemort's that could've turned the entire battle

I think i like it more that harry snap in half the elder wand cause it's being used in bad ways, and even dumbledore can't do it himself because of power. snapping it half means ending it's inheritance and not letting others to use it as a weapon to make bad decisions.
