its strange bc i knew exactly how to do it the second i saw someone do it on youtube playing a song that had it in it, ive only been playing for around 2 and a half months

Thanks for the tip! And also, when I finish the rake, my picking hand shouls release it but then go right back to muting those low strings witb the palm, right? I'm having trouble with unwanted noise, especially after a rake.
