Been doing this for awhile and he is spot on. All the extra blood flow healed up virtually all my aches and pain in the hands, wrests and elbow.

I did that 10 minute, 20 exercise routine on FearlessTofu's channel and had the biggest forearm pump of my life. Could barely move my hands and fingers by the time I was done.

Former powerlifter here, we used to do this back in the day, except we also added rock salt to the rice to add in some smaller, odd-shaped, hard particles that made it a bit more difficult to manipulate. I always had issues with my left hand wanting to come undone with heavy deads after wrist surgery, this sorted me out. Eventually though, I changed to hook grip which was even better. :)

Did this for tournament training, locked grip on the gi for a hip throw. Also for kendo, less pain in the hands when your weapon gets smacked full force.

I've had multiple breaks and fractures in my right hand and wrist over the years, this is the only thing that's helped make it any better

This is what you train for the Dim-Mok death palm. It makes it so that you can put your hand through someone’s chest and pull out their still beating heart! 💗

Could be a good idea to do a water displacement test for the hand size, would be a lot more accurate

Dan Hodge (name sake of the “Heisman trophy for wrestling from Oklahoma) used to be able to CRUSH an apple with one hand well into his 70s. It was crazy!! Look it up

I must try that, soon. I want to see somebody who isn't an experienced musician spend a bit of time doing finger exercises on a heavy-strung bass. I have suggested it to a few exercise people who have Youtube channels. You could be the first to do it. If you ever want to mess about with it, I could easily type up some exercise patterns to make the fingers feel like they will shrivel and die. :)

I been doing this for a week now, damn it feels good. I need it so bad because I usually hit a point where my forearms can't keep up with my lifts, mainly curls... long skinny arms suck. I love to "paint" and swirl my hand around in the bucket at the end.

I'd raise the bucket off the floor a bit so you dont get too much back pain
