You DON'T Love Your Kids If You Can Do This To Them

Reacting to the news that some parents are subjecting their children to isolation.

Remember: if you put your child in their room for 14 days because they wouldn't eat their vegetables or whatever, the parents would be arrested for child abuse.

I like how this 'order' assumes every family has a large enough house that would even allow the isolation of your child in a room. I'm sure there must be many families that live in homes or apartments that don't have enough rooms available to make such accommodations even POSSIBLE.

I am 29 years old and because I'm Canadian, I had to Self-Isolate for 14 days after returning from the US after visiting my fiance and step kids. I couldn't hug anyone or touch anyone for 14 days. It was traumatic enough to me as an adult. I would never, ever do this to my kids.

This is getting completely out of control. Parents have forgotten that they are the experts on their own kids and in their own families! Any parent who follows this advice has been completely brainwashed! I just have to believe that no parent would actually do this to their child!

Something tells me that families who abide by these rules live in Brooklyn, put signs in their yard that read "Love Wins", have blue hair and consider themselves inclusive. Call it a hunch.

My 5 year old got exposed to Covid bt a teacher a couple weeks ago. I got a call a week later by the county health department. He never had any symptoms. I had to keep him home a couple of days from school. He shared food with me several times during his quarentine time. We are both fine.

Any parent who would accept this are probably the same ones to accept that your child decides what gender they are when they are 4 years old

I agree that no truly loving parent would willingly separate and segregate their children from the rest of the family. The psychology truly is devastating. As a parent myself, I would definitely take my chances that my family was going to all get sick and then all get over it and then move on with life.
