Here is all what you need to know before going for a trip to Spiti Valley.
1. The winter season ( November-March ) is really harsh & the temperature drops down to as low as -30degrees. April to September are comparatively pleasant & comfortable to travel.
2. The route to Spiti Valley from Manali side is closed during the winter season but the Shimla route is open throughout the year.
3. It’s at a high altitude & it’s very very important to carry a reusable water bottle with you to keep yourself hydrated.
4. There are plenty of stay options in different ranges from budget to premium available in Tabo, Kaza & Nako.
5. A 4 by 4 car is a must if travelling during winter season but thats not a necessity if travelling during summers.
