I have Lupus & other 3 autoimmune diseases. It’s great another celebrity or known-person making awareness ofLupus.
No shade or hate but … you can’t drink all night long or shouldn’t like she did after a transplant.
I envy how she can work a lot, and look so well (at least to our “eyes”) I’m working because I need to pay bills but also I feel self-worth and feel validated/ productive too!

The reporter is simplifying lupus. Just like Covid different people can have different symptoms and illnesses with it. Some are unable to work and enjoy life as they used to. It can be devastating.

My dad and my aunt have Lupus. The prednisone oral steroid is an intense drug for people. It messes with your mood & fat distribution, people often experience more fat distribution collecting in your face

This was worthless, and pushed the stereotype that patients don't look sick and can live normal lives with paid work. SMH.
