1 3/4 cups flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 teaspoon salt
6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter (cubed)
3/4 cup milk

Bake at 450° for 13-15 mins

You can also put the butter in the freezer and grate the butter in the mixture

my two cents. put flour and cubed butter into freezer for a good 30 minutes, ditch the knives and use your hands. your goal is for pea sized pieces and youre not trying to incorporate the butter into the flour. after you break up the butter pieces, go back and smush the pea sized pieces into flakes.
