💕I just made these for my family and they are absolutely DELICIOUS!! Don't forget to add the 2 tablespoons of sugar to the flour because it definitely makes a difference. 💕

Finally! The secret to making great biscuits-I've struggled for years and can't wait to try this approach!

Looks delicious. And you got those layers easily. I have had to roll and fold the dough several times to get that effect. This is much easier. I must try. Thank you.

I’ve read that the reason a biscuit cutter works better than a can or glass, is because the latter has dull edges & mashes the sides of the dough down, keeping it from rising evenly. The biscuit cutter’s edges are sharp & goes thru the dough easily. I think it’s true, but I have trouble getting my biscuits to rise more than 1/2”. They taste great & come out light & fluffy but I can’t get them nice & tall like my grandmother’s were!

Thank you for this! I have to eat gluten free and have a recipe that calls for doing the butter like this. I never would have imagined the dough was ready/workable when you put it on your board, so I appreciate that tip! These look amazing...and also...I have that same robe! :)

I agree with you, you really need an actual biscuit cutter to make the perfect biscuits. You can get a good one for about $8 so I think it’s worth it. Thanks for the video!

Absolutely great. Shredding the butter got my attention, how do shred butter. Then I saw it, ah where I live we call it grating the butter.

This is the exact way I make my biscuits. I add 1egg beaten and a little organic raw honey to mixture. The biscuits are very fluffy and delicious. Never tried brushing buttermilk on top to help brown the biscuits. Gotta try it. I like more of a thinner biscuit. Your biscuits look Yummy.

For cutting my biscuits, I use a large tuna can with both lids removed. It works fine.

any 8 ounce metal can of tomato sauce makes a great bisuit cutter. Larger cans for larger biscuits. Thanks for sharing this recipe.
