45 Minute Upper Body Push Challenge Workout | PUMP - Day 2

Today is an upper body challenge workout so be ready to turn up the intensity! We will work for 40 seconds at a time with 20 seconds rest and complete each exercise 3 times each. I am showing you modifications this month with resistance bands so make sure to grab your bands if you will be out of town because you will be able to keep rocking with me too! I used anywhere from my 5 pound dumbbells up to my 35 pound dumbbells so grab yours if you're ready!

The exercises:
1. Inchworm Shoulder taps
2. Shoulder Press and Overhead Extension
3. Chest press
4. Close to wide tricep kickbacks
5. Arnold Press
6. Chest Fly
7. Skull Crusher
8. Single Side Incline Press from floor
9. Chest Press and 3 pulses
10. 3 straight arm pulses and one tricep extension
11. 2 Pike Push Ups and 6 Mountain Climbers

In this workout you are training with me, Sydney Cummings, owner of Royal Change and NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Fitness Nutrition Specialist. Sydney’s polite persuasion to increase weight or intensity each round really inspired me to use heavier weights. Her coaching really pushed me to go hard each and every round. That was a really great arm workout. Now let’s make today a great one!

Sydney's Daily Wisdom (47:09): "Never think that because things are hard you are weak. You know because things are hard, they've come into your path, because you either are strong enough to take them on, and you believe that, or you need to be reminded of your strength, and you show yourself by taking those things on." I have struggled with perfectionism for so long, but Sydney and her workouts have shown me that I have the ability to just keep going without fear of failure or things not being perfect. The diversity within the sets was a nice change of pace (Arnold press is a prime example). It definitely helped to keep me pushing myself!

My arms almost gave out during that last bodyweight set, wow my body was wobbling away wondering WHAT I was doing to it, but I LOVED IT! This was a KILLER upper body workout, so so good and such an awesome switch-up from last month. I am loving the pump already!
