Dave, before you set the fader to "0" on the selected channel, you should set the "gain" so it reaches approximately -18db on the meter. I observed you set it up too high on your condenser mic. The gain is the 1st and most important part of setting any channel. Gain is like the initial water flow in a multi-layer fountain, if set too high it will spill out (distortion/feedback etc) if set too low the water flow will be too weak. Most engineers recommend gain to be set at -18db on the meter.

Hi Dave's, I install the drivers in windows 10, but only appears 1-2 input 1-2 outputs, only 1 input stereo and 1 output stereo, what can I do to spears all the inputs and outputs that appears in your video? thanks.

Hi Dave, great video. Would you be able to explain how to do the initial connection from the XR18 to the computer plz? I have windows 10 on my laptop, I downloaded the Behringer drivers but when I open X-AIR edit, it says "device not connected".

I can make Windows 10 show more that one USB input and output 1/2. In your video shows more. Any idea? The XR18 is setup to 18x18. I did thre installation in two PCs with the same result. Firmware 1.17

I have an xr18, my pc has the program & they are connected because I can see monitors moving. However I can’t get any sound out of my headphones that are plugged into my pc, please can you tell me where I’m going wrong ?

Hi Dave's Tech! Nice video, thank you !
I plan to buy an XR18 but my only concern was the fact the XR18 shows up in Windows as 1 input line / 1 output line except for the ASIO aware soft. I would like to separate my different app such as Skype, game, system, discord, etc in different channels in the XR18, so I need multiple inputs/outputs. I saw on the video that you had 4 new inputs and 4 new outputs.
These 4 I/O are linked to the XR18? How did you get them? I installed the driver of the XR18 and nothing showed up? (maybe I need a physical XR18 plugged into my computer?)
And finally, did you get an answer from Behringer explaining why they have added only 4 inputs and 4 outputs when they could have put up to 9.
