i noticed on your X-Air software you also don't have the recorder buttons. I can't seem to figure out why I don't have them either.

You can use non powered aka passive speakers but you’ll need to add an Amp. This is the setup we use for our church till we upgrade all our speakers. So our amp source is our old mackie mixer/amp combo. We just utilize the amp portion to supply power to the passive speakers.

Do you have to have powered speakers for this to work. Ihave non poweredspeakers. I can't seem to get audio to the pa speakers . Am I connecting it right. It does work on the powered speakers but not nonpowered.

Hi Christiaan, ..can you explain how I connect my xr16 to my desktop windows 10 PC so I can record into my daw and also play audio/ movies etc to the xr16 then out to my connected monitors.. thanks nick
