I'm trying to use this in the studio, but can't figure out how to hear audio/playback from Pro Tools.
I would love to be able to write, record, and lay overdubs, etc. into Pro Tools using the XR18. I really don't want to use two interfaces. One for live and one for studio. Any help/suggestions? Thanks!

When I use the USB-Interface can I also do the mixing from the computer over this interface? Or do I know to use the ethernet port at the same time if I do not want to use Wifi?

Can I plug the usb to USB-C to my macbook pro to play the audio playback from my macbook?

I plugged it in, but nothing shown up. I don't see any usb driver for the xair to download.

i am interested in using the daw on my mac laptop to set up a backing track for a live performance, but i am wondering if its possible to have one track playing through speakers as a playback and another track set up with click going to my drummers headphones. i want the two tracks to start simultaneously but i dont want the track with the click to be heard by anyone other than the drummer.

I am using a macbook air running loop community Prime software to provide backing tracks. We are using the same mac to run XR18 edit software and Logic Pro to multitrack record. I need help figuring out how to record the backing tracks that are coming into the XAIR edit app channels via usb. They don't show up in Logic. We have the channels in logic set to the same channels on the XAIR channels. We can record the live instruments but the input that are usb don't record. However we do hear them coming through the main and monitors.

We want to make a live #multitrack #recording with our #XR18 and #Reaper but we will go over 18 audio tracks. What if we take a second #XR18 on the same #Reaper? Will it stay sync the whole recording. Does #Reaper give somekind of a clock to de XR18's?

Can you record the playback music in a DAW, say for a radio show? for instance you all did not record this video audio with the xr18? and if you did, how did you get his voice and playback music on the same track? i cant seem to get my DAW to record the usb input because it only wants to register the physical input even if I've routed the usb to that channel. Thanks!!

hi, i need some help with the playback ..when playing back a recording recorded by xr 18 input to my daw (cubase 5) the usb playback output signal is too hot and clipping ..the input is fine and gain is set right as there is no clipping within the daw just when it goes back to the usb out i can see it clipping in x air app on the output channel ...what am i doing wrong ? please help me out

I have researched all over the place and getting tired of trying.  I am just simply trying to pass the Main L/R out through USB to my PC for my streaming software to capture.  I have 2 older Behringer Analog boards with USB and it was a simple plug and play.  Can you please tell me simply how to have any output via USB?  I have installed the driver so my Windows 8.1 sees the XR18 as a "Line In".  There is just no sound.
