Thank you for sharing this! This makes sense to my life. I pray I can get a doctor who cares to help me.🙏🏽

I'm glad you specified that at the end. People think "I must have something because i do this 24/7" even though said symptom is only an occasional occurrence not a daily and hazardous thing. And while depression/anxiety is common, you know, people are still somatic/malignant when it comes to it because it's easier now to just say you're that instead of what you really are

I heard this happens most commonly to people in their teens due to brain development (and anxiety) at that age. The epilepsy thing is news to me. Thanks!

You're on to something because there was one time I kept feeling deja vu while I was seriously depressed

It’s also an issue with DPDR, which anxiety brings on. I used to get frequent deja vu when I was at my most anxious. Got cleared by the doctor to just treat it as anxiety. And wouldn’t you know it, it almost never happens anymore.

Omg! Any time I have experienced dejavu, I've had that and didn't know how to describe it. Similar to brain zaps or something... And I do have both mdd and gad. It doesn't happen often, but every time I experience dejavu

I used to get this on a weekly bases with my dreams I’d be able to predict things in the future that were going to happen so would change the outcome coz I knew what was going to happen this was when I was an early teen and has really gone down to being non existent I get occasional ones but they are so few and far between 😂😂 honestly was a mad time when I was younger

No sh*t, reliving inconvenient moments of your life confuses your memory hence giving you anxiety and depression

I've strongly experienced this daily, for almost 10 years now unfortunately ever since quitting xanax and synthetic drugs. Medications never helped me in any way either. Would there be any tips you'd be able to give me for this please?? I anticipate deja vu strongly oftenly in thought subconsciously.

What if it's a predominate experience? I have it a lot. I feel like it occurs around a big change in my life. I feel anxious, fear, and stress (I think I have depression as well) etc. when I experience it. Then, it seems to pickup in frequency toward, "the event" (the life changing event; a major change in my life). I feel like I see the course of some events, and I get a sense of paranoia and I am very cautious during those times when I experience the deja vu.

Do you know which kind of seizures just cause deja vu and strong nausea? I was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy and simple/complex partial seizures, but when I look up "deja vu and nausea seizures, people only mention one of those symptoms and not both, together.
