I ordered Stelo yesterday! I am really excited to try this....i haven't tried CGM before! Type 2 and am ready to get good info. That can take me to next level!

I’m so glad they are OTC now. I used to have a very condescending doctor who said she wouldn’t write me a script for one because I would be “stealing from people who really need it, ” because I could get an infection, and because she didn’t want me to have a needle left in my arm. (CGM’s don’t leave a needle in your body.) 🙄😐🙄

I just received the Lingo to tryout. I had used the Freestyle Libre before, so I am curious to see how the Lingo compares.

I’ve heard that you might get a more accurate reading on these devices if you apply the device on your stomach thigh or chest. Do you know anything about that?

I used to use the Dexcom G6, although I am not diabetic. I am insulin resistant. I went on a keto diet, lost 25 pounds and my A1c went down dramatically. But, over time, even staying on the same diet, my A1c crept back up. So, I stopped using a CGM since it felt futile to just keep looking at elevated glucose. My A1c has stabilized and technically isn't in the diabetic range, though it got as high as 5.7. When I did keto initially it got as low as 5.2, but has now stabilized at 5.6.
So, my question is whether or not a cgm would help. Is it possible at my age (70 year old male) to get glucose stabilized at a lower number, and is that even desirable?

Hi Karen. I am new to your channel as of last night. I am on your waiting list for your next class.
Do you recommend getting a OTC CGM or getting a prescription for a cgm?
Which CGM do you recommend for OTC and prescription?

Also, just starting to research all of this recently. Looking at the nutrisense program and others. Happened to stumble on your videos last night.
What would be the difference between your services versus the others?

Thank you so much!

I’ve never been diagnosed a diabetic- blood sugars on lab work and with keto mojo always below 100 until 13 months ago I had to go on Symbicort for O2 dropping (even on CPAP) at night. Mostly carnivore yet BG now staying above 100, at times as high as 126. Extremely frustrating! Can you help with that?

My Stelo CGM was off by 30 points on the upper end when I checked it against a finger stick blood sample. So, i removed it, threw it in the trash and will be returning the unused monitor. I learned that technically speaking, CGM monitors take readings NOT from actual blood but from local fluid. What a disappointment. BTW I am not diabetic, just curious about my response to different foods.

These new OTC CGMs are going to revolutionize metabolic insights by capturing huge amounts of data. For those who choose to investigate and understand their own metabolisms. Will be interesting to see how really bad processed foods are for us. LOL!

Ok been using Stelo for a few weeks. Blood meter reads 10 points lower . Do you have to calibrate it?

Hi, good afternoon afternoon. I would like to know if those sensors will send you an alarm if you have low sugar? I’m interested in lingo but also I’m gonna look for the other one that you recommend

Stelo is garbage. It's always about 40 points off and impossible to calibrate. I regret my purchase.
