Buyer beware of Veri. I signed up for their service because they looked like the most affordable but I didn't notice that I was actually signing up for a 3 month subscription so it's actually not that affordable. In fact, the whole contract thing feels like a trap, feels like a shady thing to do to people.

Just signed up for Veri because of price. It is a 3-mth contract at $109/mth, but you can pay all 3 months at a time for $297. I found a discount code for 20% off and paid $237.60. Not bad for 3 months.

Now, you have to fill out a questionnaire that will be forwarded to a doctor to approve your CGM. One thing I found interesting was they said if you have Type I or Type 2 diabetes, their CGM isn't for you.

It sure would be nice if the medical industry would not make this device so difficult to get, then we could see a more widespread use resulting in more direct competition and lower prices.

I thought the circular patch simply adhered onto the skin but when the man showed that there was a spike in the middle to enter the skin, that's when I winced and turned away from the presentation. This would be a deal breaker if I needed such a device, apart from the two hundred dollar monthly cost. ☝️😮

Shervin, in your headline you stated that you bought 5 CGM, but in your video (which I like) you cover 3 apps only that utilise CGM data. Ultrahuman was mentioned at the start but not covered. Are they any good? As far as CGMs are concerned there are two main players only out there, Abbot and Dexcom. For people outside the US and the Apple ecosystem, it would be good to know whether there are any decent health apps out there that offer similar services and functions as Levels etc. Keep it up!

For $300-400 a month I’ll just start eating vegetables and meat only and water nothing.

Dude! Watermelon cubes with cottage cheese! One of my favourite breakfast (one of the breakfasts) foods! So good. And if you haven't, try watermelon with classic yellow mustard on it, seems insane, but its killer!

PSA: The Veri link charges you the full amount despite showing a discount. The customer support is adamant that nothing is wrong with their website so you will not get the 20% off.

Recommendations in the video:
- Newby's get Veri
- Otherwise Nutrisense or Levels

Used your link. Hoping my HSA is good with me using those funds. I can't wait to dive into the data! Thanks for the great overview!

I love the data heavy presentation of Nutrisense, feels like a real life tricorder.

It depends on what you eat. I realize I had a huge reaction to tomatoes. I thought it was a mistake so I eat a small piece of tomato and bag huge spike. This told me my body does not like tomatoes

I appreciate the insights you've shared about Veri, Levels, Nutrisense, and Ultrahuman. I've had the opportunity to utilize all of them, as well as Ambrosia's Champions, which I find to be the most advanced and user-friendly. Unlike Nutrisense, Veri, and Ultrahuman, with Champions there's no need to scan the sensor.

I’m worried about the t1d diabetics who are in the comments. It’s expensive enough to be alive with T1D, without paying an extra +$200 for a repackaged cgm. Please talk to your endocrinologist!!

Also, the libre 14 day isn’t a cgm, it’s a flash glucose monitor. From an insurance standpoint it can be a huge difference. Fun fact, You can make the 14 day libre into a cgm that uses Bluetooth to automatically connects to your phone with products like miaomiao and blucon. It’s not worth it if you’re only scanning once a day, but it essential if you need real time bgl data and can only afford a 14 day libre

Great video, very informative. Thank you for talking fast - I wish more people did that. Nice job.

Really good explanation. Amazing how many doctors don’t tell diabetics anything about the needle or filament. I’m a physical therapist who got gestational diabetes and a cgm is so convenient. Thanks for your review.

Needing a doctors prescription is to me the most silly part of it all. All one is doing is monitoring one’s blood glucose which is very beneficial. Why is this only for a doctor to decide?
