The libre is not always accurate. I have had it tell me I have been really low, but no symptoms. I then use my finger prick unit and find I'm normal. Had it also show me high when I wasn't. Thanks for explaining the delay in fluid vs blood results.

If you are on Medicare, you are not eligible. I called Abbott and the representative told me even though the patient cannot be qualified by Medicare as the government has strict rule, as long as you have Medicare, Abbott cannot supply Libre for free. It’s “federal regulation”, she said. Sorry!!😢

Nice video Dr. but I can't say FSL is a complete CGM device. As we have to scan the sensor each time to get the reading. I'm using Nightrider of Ambrosia on top of my sensor which gives reading on my phone and watch without scanning the sensor. Nightrider had made my FSL a complete CGM device

I tried to fill out the form as specified by you, but as I was told, that system/first tryout is not for free. After filling all the questions, I placed my insurance info (Medicare/Medicaid) and I was told that my insurance did not qualify.
The said that they could not charge my insurance, therefore it is not free.
All the hoopla! said, is just that (HOOPLA!)
I need the truth or help In getting that

I used the FSL for 8yrs. until it failed. I never liked the size, was too slippery and the bottle of test strips should be easier to use. pulling or shaking a test strip out of the container will have the strips all over the place. My insurance, Anthem Blue X won't give me one because I am not on insulin. bastards! My dumb Dr. said that after testing for so long I should know what food I should stay away from. 40 mi round trip and going into the office and waiting 30 min. every 4mo is ok. yeah, right. got rid of that unhelpful fool.
