It's time for another fun, uplifting walking workout after eating to lower your blood sugar! Research has shown that using your muscles post meals significantly reduces glucose levels. It’s such a powerful health hack that making a habit of taking an after eating walk can truly change your life. This quick indoor walking routine is easy to do, low impact, and appropriate for all levels and ages. You can use it immediately after eating to lower a glucose spike without getting a stomach cramp. Consistency is the key, so bookmark this video and use it as often as possible. Invite your friends, family, and house pets to join you. Movement is medicine and a little bit goes a long way in helping you stay healthy and live a longer, active life.

Exercise at any time is good for your overall health and well-being. But a growing body of research shows that walking after a meal is especially beneficial for your metabolic health—particularly if your post-meal walk falls within a specific “sweet spot” window. Low- to moderate-intensity activity, like brisk walking, appears best for keeping glucose levels in check after eating. One reason for this is that walking depends on aerobic metabolism which draws upon glucose in combination with fatty acids and protein in the body. Skipped the gym today so was feeling super guilty 🥴...then I ate a big ole meal, so that felt even worse 😭 lol.... I've been walking after my meals since June and have found my blood sugar is lowering. I do walk more than 10 minutes but love being outdoors. Will continue this habit even through winter! I will use this video when it snows or I have inclement weather. Thanks for the tip!

Oh my goodness! So glad to have found you. This is a different and wonderful ideal made for almost all. I usually am so tire after a meal and I know this will make a difference in my walks, senior exercising and cleaner eating I've already started. I'm thankful for life the health and strength I have and getting them all better for added quality to them all. I pray for your sacrifice of time to lift up others. I look forward to subscribing and seeing what else you offer. I am 62 years young 😊 have solar urticaria and chose to live and not be afraid to live in the safe way that I need to. Thanks Caroline Jordan for this indoor walk. I'm from the Philippines and the the place where I live in gets pretty dark even at 6pm so theres no safe place to walk outside my house. but this helps me a lot thanks. I also grab my walk buddy my 🐶 Buchie. I use him as an added weight when I do your after eating indoor walk.

I just discovered you, new subbie! As someone who was diagnosed pre diabetic and loves to walk after lunch (but lives in south FL where it’s often too hot or raining to talk), these easy walking workouts are perfect! Help get my steps up, and I like there’s no music so I can play my own. You have a delightful personality. Keep it up. 😊

Thank you for these walking workouts (would like to see more please) they are great to do in the evening when you need to do cardio but nothing too excessive or you won't sleep. I do my more intense workouts in the afternoon but still like to exercise in the evening. Will be looking for more and have done two of these. Thank you Moe (Maureen) a 76 year young fitness fanatic
