Sit on the floor or your bed, and bend your affected leg at your knee to 90 degrees. Pull your foot and toes towards you. Bend your neck forwards. This is the start of the exercise. Begin by relaxing your toes and foot, and straightening your leg. At the same time, extend your neck back to neutral. At the end of the movement, bend your foot inwards. Return to the start position by relaxing your foot, bending the leg, and then pulling the toes and foot towards you. At the same time you should bend the neck forwards again. This is a difficult exercise so make sure you ask your therapist to guide you through it.
