Honestly I am glad this was cut and changed. Given Padme's characterization (even if the romantic angle wasn't convincing for some) in the Prequel Trilogy, I don't think it would've fit for her to suddenly try and kill Anakin even if she knows about his turn to the darkness.

I heard about the versions were Padme was initially supposed to kill him or that even Anakin thought she was coming to assassinate him in one of the novels. I'm actually glad this was removed from the final cut as it doesn't exactly match well with Padme's character and it makes this an even bigger tragedy that the person Anakin did all of this for betrayed him

The released version is way better, since we really see her love to him so she refuses to believe that he had done terrible things and tries to hold on to that until the end. That's what a loving person would do

Lot of people saying they're glad this was cut but I disagree. If this was canon, it would've lent itself to the angle that a lot of Separatist systems had genuine gripes with the corrupt Republic, with the tragic twist being that Count Dooku was just using them to see Palpatine's plan through.

I'm also not sure this would be so misaligned with Padme (as long as it ended with her not actually trying it). Someone with her deep political convictions being taught "aggressive negotiations" by Anakin for years might have thought it had to be done, trying to put the good of the galaxy above her personal feelings. Naturally she would then give up on the idea, not only because of her love for him but because she's not a murderer.

I actually was trying to look in Star Wars characters relationship to see which one of these three couples ( Anakin&Padme, Han&Leia, Rey&Ben ) and found that Anakin and Padme’s relationship is at the top 🔝 this relationship may be one of the well known relationships ❤❤

I was always surprised at how quick Anakin was to force choke her in the final cut. Clearly he was angry but to go from helping Papatine enslave the entire galaxy out of love for her to wanting to kill her seemed like quite a big jump. Padme attempting to kill him beforehand would make his reaction more believeable.
