In this video, I demonstrate 5 different ways to boot to safe mode in Windows 10 depending on the condition of your computer and the nature of the problem you’re trying to resolve. The 4th and 5th methods are for situations when you can’t reach your desktop, due to black screen, blue screen, infinite boot, boot loop, e.t.c Usually the need for safe mode arises when your computer is malfunctioning due to some malware or faulty drivers or even some applications you may have installed on your PC.

1. The first method is to use the Windows system configuration tool.
2. The second method would be to use the Shift and Restart combination.
3. The third approach would be to go through your settings page.

***The next two methods are for situations where you are unable to access your desktop.***

4. For the fourth approach, you will need to interrupt the normal boot process three times in order to force your computer to go into automatic repair.
5. The final method for this tutorial would be to use a Windows 10 installation drive. Attach your Windows 10 USB stick and boot from the USB. On this initial set-up page select Windows 10 64-bit or 32-bits depending on your platform.

I managed to get to the command prompt, got the message that the command executed successfully, and chose continue to windows 10. After that, though, my computer restarted and went back to the attempting windows repair screen. Am I doing something wrong?

When I get to the command prompt instead of it saying “X:\windows\system32>” it just says X:\Sources>” and when I type the command it says the data source could not be opened and the system device could not be found.

I am using the boot drive that I bought when I first made my computer, so I have to create my own to do this?

I'm having problems with my mouse pointer freezing, and jumping around. I found online alot of people are having this problem. I did the fix that they suggested going into the registry and changing a value from 3 to 4 for the mouse. It did work for a little but it is back and I think worse. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
