When I shut down my computer, this video stops playing. How do I fix this?

it was not entirely clear on apple’s website that you hold the shift key before starting to boot into a volume. They said “select a volume” “hold the shift key” and I assumed as any reasonable person would that it would be like holding the option key on boot.

Just shows me the logo and shuts down again… If I try to hold shift or command or etc. it just turns on as usual 😭

I noticed you have a vertical band on your screen with a slightly different color. I have this issue since. today. Were you able to fix it?

I'm pressing Shift key but continuing into normal login screen even tried to keep the power button pressed but still the same cannot access safemode

mine doesnt show conitnue on safe mode, only says continue...

When I press and hold the power button the apple logo appears and then when I keep pressing the button in crashes or something. So impossible to get to the safe mode screen

My MacBook turns on fine the normal way though

Pressing and holding the power button after shutdown just makes it turn on normally (?)

If you dont see safe mode, press shift and u will see safe mode button.
