How To Boot Windows 10 into Safe Mode - 4 EASY WAYS

In this video I'll show you 4 ways that you can enter safe mode from your Windows 10 computer. If you need to troubleshoot an issue with an application, a device driver or an unknown issue then safe mode is a good place to test. Safe mode will start Windows in a basic state, using a limited set of files and drivers. If a problem doesn't happen in safe mode, this means that default settings and basic device drivers aren't causing the issue. So this can help you to narrow down the source of a problem, and can help you troubleshoot problems on your PC.

Some laptops don’t seem to have startup options in the blue screen mode. Mine doesn’t have this so I don’t have the option at all to go into safe mode. In the blue screen it will say: choose keyboard layout; troubleshot or turn off pc; recovery manager or advanced options; start up repair, command prompt, uninstall updates, uefi firmware settings, system restore, and system image recovery. There is no startup options, continue, use a device, or reset this pc options. I tried all of the aforementioned options I have in my laptop and none of them works. Any ideas, please help.

I tried booting in safe mode but while in the start-up the external monitor doesn't connect (my laptop screen is broken). So I just tried re-installing the graphics driver in normal mode and now I have no graphics driver because I couldn't see what I was doing. Hah. Hopefully I can follow your video using the arrows and enter and see if I can't start safe mode.

Thank you! security update for win10 locked me out of my profiles and I couldn't get into settings to fix it. The 'Hold Shift' to enter advanced start up works from the profile password page too!

Sorry, the easiest way was PRESS F8 For SAFE MODE and its stupid MS made it so complicated for people in nearly dead OS situations.
