ThIs is a script that always Works for me

The goal is for myself to take charge of the situation

1. Someone says something very rude to me
2. I describe what just happened
...seconds ago I walked in here and asked you...fill in blanks
...what I see is that you are being rude to me
...is there a reason why you are being rude
This throws them off and whatever they say you repeat is that the reason
4. They may get even more rude
5. I then say, you are hopeless, keep that anger to yourself, it belongs to you

Be careful using the response "It takes one to know one". The other person may respond with "And you know them all".
