Using the INDIRECT function greatly simplifies finding the intersection of columns and rows. Use it instead of Index/Match.

Good video sir, I have successfully reproduced your example. I have an array of rows (areas 1000, 2000, 3 000 etc.) and columns are perimeters (150, 200, 250, 300 etc.) the data cells are a mix of ratios (example 1.321 and many with no values at all. I get the REF# error. Is it possible that the column and row headers are numbers or That certain cells are empty, this cannot work ?. Your help would be very much appreciated, Thank you from Canada.
