India-China Border Deal: What Pushed Xi Jinping to Agree? | Vantage with Palki Sharma

India and China have finally reached an agreement to reset their relations after a four-year deadlock. But why now? Economic instability at home and diplomatic struggles abroad may have pushed Xi Jinping to reconsider his stance. With China’s growth forecast declining, protests are rising over issues like stalled housing projects. Meanwhile, China faces trade wars with the US and Europe, tensions over Taiwan, and an increasingly hostile international landscape. Xi Jinping’s recent visit to Fujian province, urging troops to prepare for war, signals his focus on Taiwan, while scaling back global ambitions like the Belt and Road Initiative. Palki Sharma decodes the rising challenges for Xi Jinping and China.

0:42 Palki madam China has grown already a great deal, now it's India's turn, India is of course growing at a much faster rate than any other country but the one thing barely anyone in this country cares is about civic sense in the citizens and waste management, no matter how much we grow, it won't be pleasing if it will be stinking and dirty everywhere, no news channel raises this matter at national level, there should be someone in a news channel who keeps shaming ppl for their daily stupidity like spitting, urinating and littering in public places...

Elementary schooling teachings aren't helping much!

China has a very beautiful urban landscape today

Please stop criticizing my Palki. The anti China message is her bread and butter. No one can do it better.

Poor Palki, we all know that your Firstpost channel was supported by US identities.
You should be happy that China and India have good relationship again, most likely from the help of President Putin who wants to see China, India and Russia together.

China's adjusted 4.8% growth is still larger than the US's 2.8% growth, right?
It's worth noting that Russia's GDP growth has been increased to 3.6% ... while Germany's has been lowered to 0%.

This report goes to the heart of the matter. CCP needs to build economic growth to sustain its power. So, they need a deal with India (among others). Very well explained in this report! 👏👏👌👌

It always great to have very cordial relations with your neighbour countries for maintaining stability,
mutual trade, tourism and creating an environment of peace between the countries.

Instead of praising & congratulating both countries in closing a peace pact. Firstpost starts prophesying the other’s downfall? Is this the Indian mentality? That is why India is still decades behind.

The title should be "India-China Border Deal: What Pushed Modi to Agree, and withdraw indian troops ?"

To have a dream is great, but to just dream as a way of LIFE by being arrogant, condescending and NAIVE may backfired as seen after 5 years of sour relationship :

Why?

1. India bans Chinese apps and investments
2. Restricted even technician or professional from China Visa even when to help to setup new facilities.
3.Ambigous laws to penalize Chinese already established investments like Xiaomi, OPPO, etc
4. Trade with China still grow despite unfavorable relationship : simply no other replacements.
5.Many MNCs later found India doesn't offer the business environments as promoted or lacking of adequate supporting infrastructures, power, etc.
6. Could provide the alternative market of China : 6x larger than current India.
7.Doesnt no the complete and comprehensive supply chains. Hence, India still need heavily on China for parts and equipments.
8. Work cultures.
9.Lack of financial strength and technological capability.
10.Still in the early stage of developments. Even growing at China's speed, India is still lagging by decades away.
11.China is already at the forefront of manufacturing of almost anything.
12.China owns some of the latest technological patterns and advancement on par with the world best. INDIA nil.
.

China talks less and letting results to speak more and louder. India?
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

As usual India is fast to forget the result of the recent Olypmic. Starting to talk NONSENSE, IGNORANTLY and NAIVELY AGAIN!

Palki should be able to receive a small portion of the $1.6 billion anti China propaganda reward fund from the United States.

No!No!! This is not the reality, the actual fact is both China and India needed to move the Brics forward and their is no room for doing so unless by bridging they differences that is all.

If India abides by the "One China Policy", shouldn't let their media state the opposite, because it is like the US, eventually losing respect and honor for the country.

Tibet's predecessor was the Tubo Empire, which once occupied Chang'an, the capital of the Tang Dynasty in China. Its territory was several times larger than that of any Indian dynasty.
China ruled Tibet from the Yuan Dynasty until modern times. The last British Empire that wanted to replace China has been broken.
Next is India. This small country is not a big problem for China.
China's opponent is the Himalayas, as long as the road can be opened.
