India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi met for the second time this month. The two leaders met on the sidelines of the ASEAN Foreign Affairs Meeting in Laos. They discussed the border issues between India and China. Jaishankar reiterated India's stance regarding the India-China border. He said that 'Respecting LAC is Essential'.
