How to dual boot Ubuntu & macOS On Your Mac. Install Ubuntu On Mac AlongSide MacOS. Using this method you can install ubuntu 22.04 or 22.10 NATIVELY On any Mac. This Guide Will Work Properly On Any Mac Without T2 Security Chip.

*Note* - *If Your Mac Comes With T2 Chip you must disable some features to boot Ubuntu Installer from the USB. To Do So, FIRST Restart Your Mac, Hold Command + R, to boot into recovery mode. This worked! :-) Got Linux Mint on my old Macbook now! :-) Thank you for the clear guidance about the partitions. That was very helpful. Now next thing I will try is to dual boot fedora on my actual Macbook (2019). There is a github project which already includes all the drivers for the T2 chip. You do great videos, thanks again!

Please see if you're using 22.04 and make sure PulseAudio is working correctly, if it is not, fix it for 22.04: sudo apt-get remove --purge pulseaudio&& sudo apt-get install pulseaudio && If you using 22.10 make sure that any package is not broken and pipewire is installed because in 22.10 it is using pipewire audio service instead of using pulseaudio service. Thank You for giving advice for using auto-cpufreq also.

Thanks for the info. Great job. I was able to load Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on my Mac Mini (late 2014). There were just minor differences in your video vs. the installer, but nothing significant. FWIW, I had to install with a USB keyboard and mouse until I got to the point where I could enable Bluetooth and pair the wireless Mac keyboard and mouse. Thanks again!

Hello! I have an issue were when I get to the stage of making the EFI partition and the main large partition, when I go to select the EFI drive as the install location it doesn't even appear, only the large partition created does.

I did the procedure 5 times, just like in the video, but it doesn’t work!! When I click install from a bootable USB flash drive - an error (mac mini 2018) - "you need to reinstall the MacOS on the selected disk"
What to do?
