Forrest gump - Forrest and Jenny last conversation

In my opinion the best scene of the movie.

what gets to me is the parallel or something to the scene with his mom. When he enters the room and has the expression almost like he has a deja vu

I knew someone who was a lot like Jenny, a good kid that took some wrong turns and never recovered from them. Forrest Gump came out about 6 months after the last time that i saw her alive. There are lines in the movie that are eerily similar to things that she said to me, so much so that several times I found myself doing a facepalm and saying to myself "I don't believe what I'm seeing". Some parts of the movie are difficult for me to watch nearly 30 years later. For you, Ellen, RIP 1958-2009.

You were." God, how much I relate to these words.. there's someone I can't be with, with whom I've been unofficially, but remained friendly, my first kiss, my first everything and my only one. I carried him in my heart, for the past 14 years, there hasn't been a day, that I haven't thought about him.

Jenny deep down always loved Forrest but in order to love someone you have to be able to love yourself first and with her abusive upbringing and drug use she was not able to do that until much later in life. Fantastic acting here by Robin and Tom.

Of all the movie villains, "Jenny" is the absolute worst!
Crashes in his country mansion with him, after a lifetime of debauchery, calls him retarded when he proposes to her, screws him anyway, immediately abandons him, drops his kid off with him years later, after finding out she has AIDS, then, after all that, finally thinks to ask him about his experience in Vietnam, as he is serving her breakfast in bed back in his country mansion. And, if all that wasn't enough, she then makes him bury her dead body.
