Thanks, I've been about 4 months into keto and went from very well and energized initially to fatigued and not so well motivated with sleep difficulties . My muscle strength has declined noticeably, and I'm feeling cold more easily. It's everything you've so rightly described.. It all goes along with developing decreased appetite on my intermittent fasting keto dieting . Thanks to your explanation of what's happening, Im going to raise daily protein intake while adding an increased quality of fat intake. Also, I'll improve my nutritional absorption by taking betaine hydrochloride to improve gut health and protein breakdown /absorption. I'm at an age, 70, where low stomach acid is usually an issue as is mine, resulting in GERD. Fortunately, I am lean, at 150 pounds. 5'10". I APPRECIATE YOUR HELPFUL INSIGHTS .😮 1:42

Holy shit I just started noticing I get cold so much easier in the past month (currently on week 18 of my cutting diet). This past week was definitely brutal and letting me know it’s time for a maintenance week. Things I noticed last week-

Cold when the temp was lower than 70 degrees (it’s summertime in pittsburgh, here).

Hungry ALL the time. As soon as I’d get done eating I’d start salivating if I saw a picture online or on tv of food of ANY kind.

Trouble concentrating at work. Trouble sitting still. Trouble focusing on my work computer. Trouble thinking efficiently.

Tired all the time.

My everyday walk began to feel like a chore. I usually look forward to this. Also not recovering from them.

To add to the last point; not recovering from workouts

Feeling anxious or beginning to feel panic in stressful situations

Bad sleep definitely has been a key sign for me, waking up in the middle of the night, and too low carb. Once having a carb heavy dinner and going to maintenance 1-2 days my sleep always improves (as well as digestion) 😊🍚

This is a saver for me. I think I am eating less..just don't want to get weight back...but find more tired, fatigued and cloudy mind. Will add on more protein...I had stopped eating meat 4 yrs ago..hmmm have to find a middle in the road. Geez..saved and replay. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this video Thomas! I fit every single one of the aspects u mentioned. I’ve been in a big calorie deficit for 3+ years now. I’ve always thought the bigger and longer the deficit the better. I’m finding out so much more about weight loss in the last few months than I have in years. I was in Abu Dhabi for 6 months for work, decided to go on strict caloric deficit. Even in 45Degrees, I wasn't feeling that hot. And worst part was in Air condition, I had to wear winter clothes
