You cover so many cool things I wish I could find in the US. Love the channel! Thanks for sharing! San Antonio US.

It looks quite large from here. A nice salad and some garlic bread very nice 👍

£2.45 is a bargain for this when you compare it with M&S prices. Their premium equivalent is more than double the price!

I was in Aldi today, and I purchased said lasagne. I totally agree with your review. I'll even go as far as to say this is one of the best shop bought lasagne's I've ever had!
What an absolute bargain, well done Aldi. Thanks for the tip food guy👍

It gets the mmmm of approval.

I do like lasagne.

My favourite supermarket one is lidl one out of the fridge. Family one.

I think that is very good for the price.

Though I always cook it longer on a lower temperature.

Give it a try 👍

I keep a magnifying glass in the cutlery drawer so I can read the packaging on my ready meals 😂

Hi Gareth from Spain. It's good that they are using free-range pasta - the stuff they keep locked up in a shed isn't very good.

Looks a darn sight better than some of the equivalent ones for sale. worth a try. 😊

£2.49!?!? Bugger me, I’m looking for that one next time I’m in!

Cheers Gareth, you’re reviews are priceless.

A great tip for when you can't get the plastic lid off in a oner is use scissors and cut the rim off. Its a pain in the foot getting them little bits off. Another great use for scissors is cutting a pizza up. It doesn't fall apart unlike with a knife if you haven't got a wheel cutter 👍💚💛❤️

Can't go wrong with that, proper food for a realistic price.

That looked really good. I have in the past bought these and they're quick and easy to cook, great with garlic bread side serve to.

3:24 Yes, cook it in the oven, NOT the microwave! It might also work in the air fryer.

Wow, that looked really good and at a very decent price unlike those two quite expensive M&S offerings you did previously (although they too looked really tasty!).

I think where you have gone wrong in the past with ready meals is doing them in the microwave - even though they SAY “Suitable for microwave cooking”, they aren’t - if you do it in a conventional oven and maybe add a few sides (not sure what goes with lasagne), you could make the main item taste like what it’s meant to taste like and not all synthetic - with sides, it can be quite filling - those “meals for one” aren’t really enough to adequately serve one with that and nothing else!

Not that I am an expert chef - did cooking at school and art college - but that doesn’t make me Gordon Ramsay - in the same way that watching reruns of Dr Kildare makes you a doctor - or any medical drama!
