These were politicians that were always democrats dressed up as republicans. running in districts with a high possibility of winning an election. Voting for democratic policies hiding within the Republican Party.

There are many politicians who don’t really care what party they stand for, they are in it for an easy job, good pay, good benefits and the many perks and benefits that come with inside information.

Parties in Canada have a vetting process to screen out these types of people. American political parties use their system as a strategy to win the election at all costs
