I think the problem with 2 party systems is that it causes people to perceive political views as binary, good or bad. We can become inclined to treat each other as enemies. In order to be truly rational we must practice critical thinking non-stop.

Depends on which side you are on. I’ve met a smart Republican and Democrat that both seem to keep their standards high and used logic in their judgment which is most effective for their beliefs

I personally am a liberal, and I understand why we’re so hated by the other side. I believe that your beliefs should still be supported, whether I disagree or not.

It doesn't matter which side you are on, you are a great person in most every way. A lot of people see politics and world leaders in different ways. I seem to be the only person in existence who supported the decisions of the president before they blew up. Anyway, all presidents are good in some ways, and bad in other ways. Both sides should be respected honestly. I won't get angry at you if you are conservative as long as you can agree with some of the things I say about politics. I might as well be a voice for leftists who are believed to not exist. We exist, and we are proud to be Americans.
