My god. Seeing the look in Arthur’s face when he tells her he’s afraid is just heartbreaking

The way he looks after he says I'm afraid is the saddest part of it all. He looks so confused and doesn't know what to do or where to go with the rest of his life that's about to come to an end. I love this game so much.

It's actually painful going from Arthur to John, i rushed through the epilogue and restarted the game just to play as arthur again lmao.

“I’m afraid” First time I heard that made me choke up. I think it’s because in the end no matter how strong, tough and fearless you are, we all fear what’s on the other side. Arthur wasn’t ready and once he knew his time was coming to an end. He realized what kind of man he was and the life he lived. All I an say is I hope Arthur found his peace on that mountain.

I don't think i ever cried this hard playing a game...it's so genius and heartbreaking to have your main character die of sickness.

I love the delivery of the “I’m afraid” line and how it seems almost accidental. Before that he’s mostly being just kinda nonchalant and casual about what he thinks. Even laughing. But then he lets out a little bit of how he FEELS with that look on his face that he almost immediately tries to fix back again while Sister is talking.

This is one of the only times he does this in the game and it’s just so genuine and real for the kind of person he is.

Every time I heard him coughing when he ate it killed me right in the heart knowing that there was nothing I could do to save him. I had a little hope with the natives, but, it was meant to be this way... =(
