Once I wore glasses less so I got used to it. I can still see pretty well except letters. But when I wear my glasses more and remove them I notice how much of a difference it makes. It makes me feel like my eye sight is bad

I guess glasses will really never cure your poor eyesight. Coz if it does, you shouldn't be increasing your grade each year or more. Just my situation 🤷

PURE SCIENCE:
Put a minus lens on the normal eye, and it becomes myopic.
PURE MEDICINE:
Denys everything.

This video is wrong on almost every point, including the hearing aid analogy.

I think I have read on this subject for a long time, and I know for a fact that wearing glasses extensively does not give your eyes a chance to improve your vision naturally. This applies to everything we do. If you are the type of person that drives everywhere, and never walks, walking a half a mile to the corner store and back may seem like an impossible task, because your dependency on your vehicle makes you lazy and unable to function without it. I was prescribed glasses at at age 10 and I refused to wear them. I am glad I did, as my vision improved over time. Do the research, there is plenty of study material on this subject, once you introduce an artificial gadget or instrument to the body, the natural instinct for the body to perform at high performance in order to get maximum out put is reduced significantly. This applies to everything, from using the stairs as compared to using an elevator and many other every day body functions.

The eye is a muscle. The ear is not. Train your muscles

Was worried that if I stopped wearing glasses I would go full blind. I am legally blind and see everything with a blur

Glasses change the way light hits your retina. Hyperopic defocus occurs when we use minus lenses for close up. This is a compensatory process that elongates the eyeball thus creating worsening eyesight. This is why our eyes get worse when we go for eye exams/check ups.

The comparison doesn't make any sense. Eyes use muscles, ears don't. So the comparison should be something like... should I drive my car less and walk more so my legs don't get weaker?

Not sure if I agree to that. When I removed my glasses after few hours of wearing them, I could see a specific sized text less clearly that I was seeing before wearing them.
Additionally, my friend also told me that now he can no longer read some texts that he was able to read. He is now wearing glasses for some years now. So I'm gonna saw that it's not such a great option, atleast in my case

So does it mean that wearing - 2.5 when you only need - 2.0 does not affect your eyes

I had a power of -3.75 D for almost ten years and never in the meantime experienced blurriness of vision, but recently when i had my eye checkup, it came out to be -4.00 D and cylindrical power of -0.75D in both eyes but with the new prescribed glasses it is becoming difficult for me to adjust, eyes become tired. so, i immediately swap with old pair of glasses, will it be a problem if i don't switch to new pair of glasses and continue using old pair of lens and secondly will swapping between two powers have any adverse effect on eyesight ?

I am farsighted and at the age of 12 my eyesight went from +7, 5 to 6, 5 and now i am 14 and i feel like my vision is a bit better. I am starting to see better day after day. I checked my vision today and from 2 years it went down from +6, 5 to + 5. I got so happy but then my doctor said that it also was a bad thing because i could get near sighted. I use my phone myuch and i am also focusing my eyes on near things very much. Does that make my vision better because i am farsighted and is it really possible that i am going to become nearsighted? Btw my docote toöd me that farsighness often gets better with time because the eye gets bigger with time and those who are farsigighted has small eye. Sorry for bad english tho, If anyone can answer the questions, i will be more than happy

I imagine using a hearing aid all day long on max volume play a loud music could damage the ear...

Well, a hearing aid works by amplifying sound, and loud sounds damage ears, so I would be a little worried that hearing aids will damage my ears further over time. Please provide another example.

Guys i really need help. Actually i didn't have any vision prob, it was all fine but just because i have to take 6 to 7 hrs classes + extra study time onscreen my eyes started getting really dry and i got headache and my forehead started feeling sore so my local optical store made me buy .5 further vision glasses. As i wore it the whole day I realised maybe my eyes have no problem maybe it will make it worse. Should i continue wearing them or not ??? It did feel like it didn't hurt the whole day but maybe that's just because the pain shifted to my eyes adjusting to the lence?? Please someone reply
