The moment I wore contact lenses for the first time, the world looked completely refreshed. Amazing experience

you forgot to mention: you can boil, fry things and wash dishes with hot water with contacts where as with glasses, they’ll fog up.

I needed glasses when I was 12. Started using contacts almost exclusively until I was about 16. I was initially uncomfortable with the way I looked with glasses, but I can't say I liked the feeling of contacts either. My eyes not only felt dry, but overall, just really tired after a day of use.

Plus, I ultimately embraced the look of glasses on me once I was in high school and almost entirely stopped wearing contact lenses. Because of this, I was recommended to switch to the disposable contacts due to how infrequently I wear them, and that's pretty much worked out well ever since.

There are rare occasions where I find it's better to wear contact lenses, like when I'm doing something that involves physical activity, or am performing a piano recital onstage. It's always nice to have options!

Why not both? Beautiful glasses plus daily disposable lenses when needed?

So far, I prefer my contacts.

With the glasses, my nose hurt, My face started to look foreign to my peers, and any physical activity became a chore.

I'm also, literally blind.
So I misplace them a lot.

Just got contacts today. My glasses got really oily because I’m a teen and I have bad acne, and the bridge of my nose was always irritated and red. The glasses fogged up whenever I went outside in winter or wore a mask. Contacts are a lot better in my opinion, the peripheral vision also being in focus is a big plus.

Seeing with contacts feels more natural, but I'd rather wear glasses and not worry about dry eyes.

Great Breakdown! I'd add that you should always own a pair of glasses, since you shouldn't wear contacts while having a cold or other infections. You could spread the bacteria in your eyes and cause more infections.
I like to wear both, my glasses suit me well and I have rather dry eyes, but contacts work better with my anisometropy and are really convenient.

as a woman who wore glasses since age 5, getting lenses at 15 was a huge improvement especially because my big eyes didnt look so big and feminine covered by -5.00 thick glasses. Now i'm 21 and they have been a life saver: my vision is way more natural (to the point that if i wear my glasses i get dizzy), my makeup is more viisible, i can work out better and i can wear masks everyday without fogging. i hope i can get PRK done and finally be done with paying to get eyesight

I wore glasses for two years before trying contacts and I regret not trying them sooner. I have to say it did take several different lens trials before finding one that worked great for me so don't give up if the first ones you try don't feel right.

I really prefer both. I definitely see the best through clean eyeglasses but contacts offer me so much versatility. I also find that while my vision is overall better with eyeglasses, this is especially true in low-light scenarios. Also my depth perception is a lot better better with glasses. That being said, I wear contacts 80% of the time. Especially since I play tennis. So if i’m laying around the house, I want to wear glasses and if i’m out and about, I stick contacts in.

Contact lenses all the way! I’ve been using them since I was 14, and my eye doctor has been amazing and super understanding. Dry eyes? Of course I get them from time to time, but that’s why you keep good hygiene when handling them, get drops, and not sleep with contacts on of course ☺️

I love that glasses express my personality. I’ve been considering some contacts because of COVID. I personally don’t love when my glasses fog up with my mask, but I have dry eyes and don’t want contacts irritating them.

Honestly contacts are a life changer for me after wearing glasses for so long. They're so comfortable to me and easy to care for 😊 and I have no problem inserting and removing them. I remember being so shocked with how much I was missing out on seeing with just wearing glasses. 😅🤣 now I just stare at everything because I love seeing everything in such clarity!

I don't have to worry about my glasses sliding off my face, getting smudged, scratched or broken, and not having my glasses leave a painful indentation on the bridge of my nose 😬. I also don't have to worry about my vision getting fogged up while wearing a mask. All in all, I'm very happy wearing contacts! 😊

I have been wearing glasses for 5 years, and 2 weeks ago i decide to try contacts because of the covid and the mask, you know, and i deeply regret not trying it sooner, once you get used to put it in and out, is the most comfortable thing ever, your videos explaning how to put it in and take it out help me a lot though, thank you so much!
