Do you have a garage gym? Is there anything I left off that you consider a must-have?

I stalked your Amazon list and got the same pulley system for Christmas last year! I need to get a lat pulldown bar and also figure out how to set up another attachment point because right now I only have it hanging from the pull-up bar. Thanks for this video! Garage gyms for life! 👊🏻

The truss connectors for the stall mats is a great idea!

I feel so much better about my own home gym!! I have a lot of the same equipment and will be looking into horse stall mats when I switch over the flooring! I did not know about the different barbells but have both!! Yay me!!! I watched this after you put in the central heat/air--- that is a BIG game changer for me in Central California!!

That opening 😂 love it! In regards to catering to ease of use, putting the fan or music system on something voice activated (I use google home, but I realize this isn’t for everyone), I’m more likely to move straight into my workout when needed. There are cheap plug options that can essentially make anything voice activated and I adore it. Leave a broom in the garage for warm up mobility/movement - works just as well as pvc pipe but you likely already have it lying around.

The above suggestions aren’t anything wild and that’s because Annie already covered most of my favorite garage gym pieces. 😃

Great video! Thanks for spending time on it. I hope Coop sees it and gets a laugh on the intro.

Nice work. I like how you have used a big budget and a big space to create something so functional and uncluttered.

This is one of the most information-packed presentations I've seen. Gets right to the point. I don't think you stumbled once. Also, great gym.

Very helpful! My husband and I hope to put a garage gym together on the next few years once we buy a house and sometimes it can be challenging to think of everything we would with managing space

I bought bumper plates back in 2017 when I really started building my home gym so I could use them for cleans/snatches. Honestly, I haven't done much of either over the past few years and could get by with just steel plates for the most part.

Loved the vid! I live in an apt (aka no garage), but I still found it to be informative. I have PowerBlocks, but it was helpful to learn things I can add with my limited space (bands!) Thanks for taking the time to put this together.

I think rack, barbell, bench, weight plates, weight plate holder and some kind of platform are essential. This way you can do bench, squat, and deadlift which most will agree these are the strongest lifts. Hip thrust has become more popular and I have been doing it too for glute development. Some other pieces I have bought is a 45 degree hyper or back extension which is basically another glute movement. One I am considering is a Nordic ham curl which works the back of legs too using bodyweight.
