Rogue Equipped Home Gym Tour - Jay in Waco, TX

For this edition of the Rogue Equipped Home Gym Tour series, we’re meeting up with Jay Cruz of Threefold Fitness for a look at his impressive home gym in Waco, Texas.

Over the years, we’ve visited the training HQs of Olympians, Strongman legends, and CrossFit champions, but some of the best home gyms on Earth are put together by our everyday Rogue customers, who often combine big ambition with clever uses of space and storage. That’s why we’re putting the spotlight on athletes like Jay and giving them a chance to share their own unique garage gym ideas and insights. From preferences on squat racks, barbells, and plates to their favorite accessories, attachments, and adaptations, every gym owner’s story can help inspire another’s journey.

For Jay’s training space, the journey started with a Limited Edition Rogue Monster Lite Power Rack, which evolved over the years with the addition of many of Rogue’s M-Lite attachments (it’s now his kids’ primary rack).

Jay’s complete set of Rogue Dumbbells are probably the equipment he uses the most. “It goes from 5 LBS to 150 LBS,” he says, “so you can do anything from really light shoulder lateral raises to really heavy DB RDLs if you need to. [The dumbbell area] is probably my favorite space in the whole gym.”

With a Rhino Belt Squat, an Echo Bike, a Deadlift Platform, and an RM-6 Monster Rack as the “centerpiece” of the space, Jay has no shortage of top-flight gear, but he’s still planning additions . . . specifically another machine or two for leg exercises.

Monster RM-6 Rack:

Rogue Urethane Dumbbells

Monster 3-Tier Dumbbell Rack

Rhino Belt Squat

Rogue Deadlift Platform

Rogue Ohio Bar - Stainless

AB-3 Adjustable Bench

Monolift Attachments

Echo Bike

The hell with the gym, what's he do for a living? That setup is easily a couple hundred grand, and it's in his own personal facility. That's insane.

THAT IS NOT A CHEAP SET UP. This 'consumer' definitely deserves a 'video segment' in this page. Money Well Spent.

Mate, how on Earth did you afford all this, not to mention the awesome building it's in?

My home gym consists of a pull up bar and a jump rope. My home gym tour would only take about 10 seconds. Rogue has yet to respond.

How does he mount those mirrors to be floating?

Are we just going to ignore the Prime equipment?

What I hope Rogue can do is to make equipment that is affordable for other markets such as here in Asia. Rogue equipment can be expensive as it is for those in the US, never mind how it would be for most Asians. If Rogue can make equipment that would fit budgets here in Asia then that would be great.

That's a realistic home gym set up, that literally anyone can afford. 🙄

Heads up, rogue sold me a bad made monster rack and now they don’t want to exchange it! There are dents between every hole as if the machine was not placed properly, after each hole they have dents! 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Says he needs hack squat for his legs.

Legs look like they never touched any weight. Makes no sense why he can't just lunge with dumbbells or just BB squat.

Very fishy video.
