Steve! You are probably THE only YouTuber that has collabed with a company and hasn't charged hundreds of dollars for your kit!! I thank you so very much for that! You truly are a peach my dear!! 🖤❤️

If like to share something with you, I do paint and is sketched and painted a galeon ship with a saying next to it."Ships don't sink because of the water around then, they sink because of the water that gets in them, don't let what's happening around you get inside you and weigh you down."

You know Steve I believe you've solved the issue of the consistency by putting the item in fridge to stabilize the Vaseline.I believe this is a better technique than lotion honestly.😊

"having more people do it is always a good thing, because then we learn more!"
YES! THIS! this is one of the things I love about all the YouTube crafty/arty channels. You all share your methods, techniques, ideas, and often find ways to adjust and make them your own, or improve on them while you're at it.
Hopefully soon I'll be able to set up and start sharing my own adventures in arts and crafts

Very cool! Love using the freezer to set the vaseline. And yes they do the same with pastry to set the butter.

Hello & Gday from Australia.
I’ve been crafting with resin for about 8 months and have been making use of the YouTube tutorials.
In the time I have been crafting with resins I noticed the labels have changed at least twice now in the last 8 months.
First time I used the resin for crafting the odour was pretty strong, even though the mask I was wearing & a good exhaust was needed.
The labels changed and the date of manufacture was on every label and a use by date of exactly 365 days is apparent on the new generation of resins. The labels also began to say low toxicity and odour to non toxic and no odour.
The newest labels no longer have a use by date on the instructions on the label and promises of crystal clear bubble free resin.
The resins really are very clear and bubble free now in the latest generation of resin for crafting.
Cheers Steve & thanks.🙏

I really like how this turned out. Thank you for the idea & inspiration. I think the tray would look great if you put some gold leaf or gold glitter or even just a dusting of gold mica powder and then a nice top coat. That might look elegant. Thank you!

Awesome job! I love this but, I think for me, I would of done a thin top coat of clear resin to finish them off.✌

I've been using baby lotion with stencils. It works quite well for me. I made several trays for Christmas (2023) gifts. I've also rubbed the mold with mica power first then put the stencil dpwn to covering it with lotion. It worked really well. I did leave the lotion on for several hours to days just depending on my schedule. Lotion whipped off really easily.

I'm also wanting to do cameos. Looking for small face and animals stencils to work with.

Ah I wondered if you would get to this technique sometime :) Fun isn't it. Nice work Steve. Baby lotion works well too, and if you have 2 or 3 identical stencils you can stack them for a deeper relief

Lovely results. I have loads of stencils for my card making.

I tried the lotion and it was too messy if you did big leaves or petals (sunflowers for me) so found vaseline did perfectly for big spaces, after watching Daniel, so good on you for going straight to vaseline...

You could also probably use use some think resin with your stencil, cure it, then pour the bulk resin in
