So, you regret everything? Woke up this morning and immediately regretted not going to bed earlier? Bought something expensive you barely use and now feel like an idiot? Said something awkward in a conversation five years ago, and now at 3 AM your brain suddenly decides it's the perfect time to relive the embarrassment?
Well, don’t worry - we’re fixing this today.
----------
Constant regret drains your mental energy, making it harder to focus on work, studies, and personal growth. It keeps you stuck in the past instead of moving forward and learning from your mistakes. Overthinking every decision can lower productivity, increase stress, and even affect your confidence. The more you dwell on regrets, the less time and energy you have to improve your future. In this video we will discuss how you can break free from the weight of regret and move forward.

Exactly! It's like trial and error. If you made a mistake. Don't worry. Just learn from it

I'm an absolute overthinker, and because of that I always end up not doing anything at all because my ultimate conclusion is that it's just not worth it.

Let’s be real—nobody gets it right all the time. We all screw up, drop the ball, say dumb things, and misread the room. Being fallible isn’t a flaw—it’s part of being human. What matters is owning it, learning from it, and not pretending to be perfect. Honestly, the people who admit they’re wrong are usually the ones you trust the most.

0:10 this is me. I always rethink my interactions with people. How they might Perceive me. How it could've done better etc.

“Let go of the cringe “. I’m working on it! Sometimes it seems like there’s a part of my mind that wants me to remember these things, to cringe and suffer

1. Turn regret into data
Learn from mistakes if you did something wrong great now you can learn from it and not do it again

2. Let go of the cringe
People are too busy thinking of their own embarrassments, they do not think about you

3. The past is unchangeable
Overthinking about it won't change anything

4. The happiness shortcut
Move on don't waste time thinking about that embarrassment

To the person reading this, stop letting your doubts and insecurities rule your life. You are capable of amazing things, even if you don’t always feel it. Don’t compare your journey to anyone else’s. Trust that everything is happening for a reason. You are stronger than you think, and your breakthrough is closer than you realize. Keep believing in yourself. You’re meant for greatness. May peace and blessings find you.

Buying things, I rarely regret.

Social situations, on the other hand...
I replay them over and over again afterward, even the positive ones.
"Did I do the right thing?"
"How did X react?"
"Did I come across as angry?"
"How should I act when meeting them again?"

Wow, this is one of the rare occasions when YouTube video is actually short, specific and useful. Many thanks for this!

Smart people regret things because they think too much, happy people make choices and move on.’ This just unlocked a whole new mindset for me. 🤯🔥

OCD and anxiety are what fuel the nightmare of embarrassment and regret. A lot of people can just simply contextualize, but for many it's a seemingly impossible process.

In my experience, people used to come up to me to tell me about something embarrassing I did that they couldn't forget when I was a kid and it still haunts me to this day ever so often in adulthood even though I'm on the journey of unlearning it.
