Trying to tame our racing thoughts can feel like trying to tame a pack of wild horses. In this guided meditation, Headspace Meditation and Mindfulness Teacher Dora Kamau will teach us how to gently bring our racing minds back to the present with self-compassion. With a calming narration and grounding visualization, we’ll come to understand that we cannot force the mind to stop racing, but we can gently guide it to become more tame, calm, and learn to enjoy moments of stillness.

We LOVE this meditation, and the other animated meditations in my classroom! We use them as our daily mindfulness practice. I would love even more animated meditations-- those are the best for my students as it keeps them engaged.

Thit is quite lovely, but I admit I was distracted by calling a herd of wild horses a pack lol. The rest of it was very helpful and a nice strong visual as well. Thank you!

This was great, I loved that the horses matched the sense of rush in my body and allowed me to slowly relax. I tried other meditations before and the contrast of energy wasn't helping me. Thanks

I really love the animation. Just looking at it calmed me down haha. Normally I meditate with eyes closed but looking at this while sitting still and breathing consciousness was such a nice little variety in my everyday life :3
