"Distracting ourselves from rumination can work too. Exercise is a natural mood booster and can be a great way to calm the negative chatter of the mind. Something as simple as going for a walk (whilst distancing) and paying attention to your surroundings is powerful. You can also try a new exercise video, learn something new, or call a friend who you know can calm your nerves."
