Strengthen your emotional core for courage

If you want to have more existential courage in life, you have to start by building your emotional strength. You can do this by taking everything you experience into your core and process it without flinching. This way you will learn to see how you can master life as it is, rather than avoiding challenges.

I often turn away, but this afternoon I'm doing something challenging and it's due to your wisdom and encouragement. Have a good day, friend.

I wish youtube had more of people like you. You're simply wise and wonderful. I am only 19 but I wish to be like you when I grow older!

I'm a survivor of trauma and struggle daily. I am taking a huge step by going to the Dr today for the first time in 8 or so years. Thanks for giving out so much love and encouragement. A random person on Earth really takes what you say and holds it right in their heart.

You, Emmy, who I have recently discovered, (lucky me), are truly amazing, so wise & enlightening, so generous & supportive. Thankyou.

"Grist for the mill..." An excellent phrase, not used often enough these days. Lots of depth to that phrase.

I don't have contact with my mother anymore, because being in a relationship with her was too destructive and painful for me to continue. I often miss my mom - had she spoken to me the way you speak to your audience, perhaps I wouldn't have to miss her. Either way, thank you. Your encouragement and kindness are deeply felt and appreciated. You speak beautifully, and you convey great wisdom with simple words. Elegant and wise.

Thank you Emmy, love and appreciate you. Yes, and to expand slightly it is through this intention you speak of, plus the absolute willingness and devotion to finding one’s deeper purpose and truth of being. It is a beautiful journey as we learn to let go and filter the outer, and finding such richness, wholeness and healing strength within.

I have always wondered where all the wise old people were hiding. I have always felt a huge deficit of having wise old people in my life. Thank you for these videos.

Love your demeanour in this videos so much. You seem so kind, and being greeted the way you did at the beginning immediately calms my nervous system and makes it easier to actually listen. Thank you for all of your work!

Thanks Emmy, for sharing your thoughts on this. It speaks volumes and it could not have arrived a better time as I continue to fast and get in shape all the while listening to your compassionate and caring wisdom. When you said that we need to work every day on that sense of who we are and how we gather the experiences of the day within ourselves, I do find myself having bouts of being overwhelmed and out of my depth. Mainly because I feel things deeply and intensely. All my books are philosophy and psychology. They are substitutes for not having friends.
I don't have them because mature friends are hard to find -a mate is even far worse. In the US, social gatherings are abysmal. So, without my books and encouraging words from you Emmy and others online, I'd be either depressed or dead. Lol!
